Monthly Income and Downloads Report – April 2013

Income Reports PicWelcome to my April monthly income and downloads report!

Each month I share a detailed report of how many downloads my apps have gotten in the past month as well as how much money I’ve earned from them – to the penny.  No matter if it’s been an awesome month or a terrible month, you’re going to find out right here in these reports.

I’m doing this not only to be as honest and transparent as possible, but also to hold myself accountable and motivate myself to keep improving my income.  These reports may not be jaw-dropping (at least at first), but hopefully you’ll get a good feel of what it’s really like to be an independent app developer.  No hype, no gimmicks – just the facts.

Hopefully as time goes on though, these income reports will gradually keep growing and you’ll be able to follow along on my journey to become the next mobile app tycoon!

Monthly Income and Downloads Report – March 2013

Income Reports PicWelcome to my March monthly income and downloads report!  Because I’m just getting around to publishing this now at the end of April, on top of that no real major events in my business happened in March, I’m going to make it as “bare-bones” as possible, just including the numbers.

You might have noticed that I haven’t been posting much on the blog lately.  Don’t worry, it’s not out of pure laziness on my part – there’s a good reason that I’ll be talking about more in a future post!

Each month I share a detailed report of how many downloads my apps have gotten in the past month as well as how much money I’ve earned from them – to the penny.  No matter if it’s been an awesome month or a terrible month, you’re going to find out right here in these reports.

Why You Should Always Check 5 Star Reviews on Elance

Today I have a short video for you about why you can’t always trust contractors on Elance simply because their average rating is 5 stars.  In this video, I show you a proposal I got on Elance when outsourcing an eBook that at first looked really legit.  Before I selected this contractor though, I took a look at the most negative ratings from previous employers.  Luckily I stumbled upon a negative review that gave evidence that this contractor was simply acting as a middle man and actually reposting jobs he is supposed to be working on and hiring cheap overseas writers with bad content.

Luckily if you do what I show you in this video, you won’t get screwed by these types of shady contractors trying to take advantage of people and make a quick buck!
